Methodology for Favoring the Competent Experimental Investigative Performance in Engineering Students
Abstract
The research starts from identifying that there are tests in the experimental performance of engineering students assuming the completion of laboratory practices in the physical discipline given the epistemological and methodological shortcomings that persist. Competence-based training is now an imperative in the training of professionals, given their conceptual and methodological contributions. The objective is to develop a methodology to favor the experimental research performance of engineering students during the transit through the physical discipline, it is based on a didactic model of training-development experimental competition in Physics for students of careers Engineering. The research incorporates new conceptual elements to the didactics of the physical discipline, among them: characterization of experimental competition in physics for students of engineering careers, experimental performance, technological experimental ability, customized and contextualized computational simulations and methodology. This methodology is applied in the different engineering careers of the University of Camagüey. The theoretical and practical results of the research were evaluated by experts in the subject with positive criteria.
