Compact Objects and Intense Magnetic Fields
Abstract
In Astrophysics are considered as compact objects the White Dwarfs, Neutrons Stars and Black Holes. The present work is devoted to give an overview of the formation of White Dwarfs and Neutron Stars, their main characteristics and the astronomical observations that prove their existence. We also consider the role of the magnetic field on these objects.
