Abstract

Excluded from the refereed scientific magazines because of their content, pseudosciences are growing and multiplying within mass media, where they usually portrait a twisted vision of reality. The only hope to eventually stop the spread of such negative manifestations is to have scientists take the lead in disseminating rational thinking in mass media with the support of journalists.
